Oldcastle Materials is looking for a customer focused individual with strong customer focus and technical skills to join our team as a Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for maintaining and supporting users and technology at various Oldcastle sites including offices and plant facilities. This position will provide onsite technical support in collaboration with our Service Desk and other IT teams. This position will also require project work and travel as necessary. This position will be reporting to the Field Services Manager.
(Essential Duties and Functions)
*Provide hands on and remote troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and upgrade of IT hardware and software.
*Coordinate and work with other teams to complete necessary tasks (Ex: Service Desk, infrastructure, vendors, OMG users,)
*Provide timely status updates to key stakeholders, and OMG IT Management.
*Maintains team queues by actively communicating with the customers and peers.
*Follows Standard Operating procedures and assist with maintenance of documentation.
*Support the continuous improvement culture through the identification of potential process/procedural improvements and/or participation on cross functional/regional teams.
*Complete assigned compliance duties including but not limited to Onboarding and off boarding of employees
