Field service Technician
We are looking for an experienced field service technician who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing equipment. The technician will install, trouble-shoot, inspect and repair a wide variety of devices such as DVR's, IP/Analog CCTV cameras, Alarm, Access Control equipment, hardware and software upgrades, computer network devices, and Point of Sale (POS) equipment as well as related Peripherals.
This position requires climbing ladders, and potentially even working on scissor lifts for larger installations.
Technicians will pick up pre-programmed equipment at a storage facility 2-3 days a week that will be located close to their home.
Technicians will be required to provide the following tools:•
Phillips head screwdriver - size 0, 1, 2
Flat head screwdriver - size 0, 1, 2
Socket set - metric and standard
Technicians will first begin a 6-8 week training program.
Technicians will work out of their own home servicing locations within a 90 mile radius of their area. The company provides full-size GPS van, laptop computer, shirts, and an Android based Verizon phone. The basic work week is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, however overtime is often required outside of these hours. Furthermore, some customers require after hours upgrades to their POS equipment which will require work from 9pm-4am.
