Each member of our Finance and Accounting departments knows that their role goes well beyond simply reporting the numbers. They are responsible for the financial health of a multi-billion dollar organization, and play an important role in upholding Walgreens high ethical standards and business practices. Ultimately, the work these team members do to keep the company financially sound will improve the lives of our customers, our team members and our shareholders.
Finance Development Program
Our Finance Development Program offers new graduates and entry-level professionals the opportunity for broad exposure and experience within the Finance division at Walgreens. Areas of concentration and rotation may include:
- Mergers and Acquisitions
- Internal Audit
- Corporate Tax
- Corporate Financial Planning and Metrics
- Investor Relations
- Corporate Innovations Team
Associates will rotate through four areas in six-month intervals. Each rotation will allow you to learn new skills, gain concentrated expertise and positively contribute to our business through specialized projects. By the end of the program, associates will have developed leadership competencies, organizational knowledge and insight while fostering business relationships with peers, mentors and senior management.
Upon completion of the 24-month rotational program, associates will be placed into targeted senior staff analyst roles within the organization.
