The Finance Data Scientist's objective is to help deliver innovative analytics solutions based on deep Business Intelligence, Big Data and insight reporting technologies. Act as a business consultant, data scientist and solution architect in support of IBM's INTERNAL customers. You will transform data into analytical solutions delivering business value and improved business outcomes. We are looking for an experienced professional with experience working with structured and unstructured data ideally in Finance decision support teams.

The business need:
- Interpret rich data sources;
- Manage large amounts of data
- Merge data sources;
- Ensure consistency of data-sets;
- Create visualizations to aid in understanding data;
- Build deep, complex mathematical and statistical models using the data;
- Present and communicate the data insights/findings
- Discover relationships among elements in data sets

Technical requirements include proven hands-on experience in working with current and emerging technologies for analytics such as the following:
- Advanced Analytics tools (including SPSS Statistics, SPSS Modeler, Watson Analytics);
- Coding knowledge (including SQL, R, Python);
- BI tools (including Cognos Analytics)

A candidate with project management skills, leadership experience and independence will drive significant value to our finance team.
