The Finance Team Lead - US Consumer Global Services will manage the day to day operations and responsibilities of the Raritan Global Services team supporting the US Consumer business, including, but not limited to, quarterly close preparation and completion, journal entry and account reconciliation approvals, CFO quarterly balance sheet reviews, dashboard KPIs, leasing analysis, hedging, and other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned. He/she will drive productivity and efficiency improvements and enhancements as well as collaborate with OpCo and Global Services finance business partners in order to enable work migrations and standardization enhancements into Global Services. He/she will also ensure SOX compliance and supervise one or more senior financial analysts supporting the Consumer business from a Global Services perspective.

The major responsibilities are as follows:
  • Quarter Close Preparation & Completion
  • Journal Entry & Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation (BSAR) reviews and approval
  • BSAR analysis
  • Migration of standardized processes and activities from the OpCo into Global Services
  • Post Close Activities; KPI Dashboards, Balance Sheet Reviews
  • Leasing Coordination & Analysis, Hedging Coordination
  • Supervisory Administration; Performance reviews, staff feedback & counseling
  • Ad-hoc projects and assignments

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • A major in Accounting or Finance is preferred
  • CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting is required                                               
  • Prior people management experiences required  
  • Intermediate to advanced level Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word skills is required
  • Experience with SAP and/or TM1 is preferred
  • Experience in a shared service environment and supporting general accounting processes and procedures is preferred
  • Knowledge of audit/SOX/compliance requirements is preferred
  • Must possess the ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization. 
  • Must have strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills. 
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and proven leadership and supervisory skills. 
  • The ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required. 
  • May require up to 10% travel
