RSM is offering a unique opportunity for a Supervisor to join our growing Technology Services Consulting Practice. The Manager is a client-facing role focusing on finance transformation services. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting and/or finance professional with a strong background in Accounting/Finance.

This Consultant will manage multiple client projects ranging from consulting services and client support, to full implementations. The successful candidate must demonstrate willingness to go the extra mile for the team's success. They will be a problem solver, creative thinker, fast learner, be detail-oriented, and interested in learning their clients' business.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients, while managing their expectations 
  • Lead all client delivery activities and discovery session that include requirements gathering and desired workflows with clients to understand and document their business needs (i.e. budget forecasting, financial reporting, and consolidation)
  • Consulting with accounting, financial, operational and other management personnel to improve their businesses.
  • All engagements require process analysis, project management skills and the ability to work in collaborative teams.
  • All engagements involve the analysis, development and documentation of improvement opportunities, and may include implementation and training components.
  • Manage project scope, tasks, deadlines, budgets and lead project teams through Finance Transformation projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting, operations and/or performance improvement consulting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including high-impact client-facing communications
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able and willing to travel at least 30% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:                              

  • Demonstrated work ethic and ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Consulting or Professional Services firm experience is preferred with previous pre-sales/sales experience
  • Corporate or industry accounting experience is preferred 
  • Previous experience with operational process reviews and basic internal control requirements
  • Ability to anticipate and address client concerns and issues
  • Strong accounting skills and knowledge
  • Ability to break complex issues into project steps and problem solve
  • Ability to facilitate clients, and project teams, at all levels of the organization
  • Understanding and demonstrated experience with working with multiple clients  
  • Corporate or industry accounting experience is preferred 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong data assimilation and organization skills
  • Strong self-direction and team working skills
