This position is for a Finance Analyst supporting HQ R&D groups along with general FP&A activities. This position will assist in all budgeting activity including conducting reviews, analysis and recurring reporting. It will report to the PPG (Patterning and Packaging) FP&A lead and support multiple controllers across the organization. Candidate should be able to use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve financial processes and reporting. Also, candidate should be able to solve complex problems, take new perspective using existing solutions. He should be able to work independently under minimal guidance and should act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Key Responsibilities
1) FP&A
a) Consolidates and analyzes financial information for monthly/quarterly/annual forecasts and strategic plans
b) Drives cadence of PPG deliverables and coordinates with Corporate during financial cycles
c) Completes financial packages and commentary for finance and non-finance executives
2) Financial analyst for HQ R&D groups within PPG
a) Collect inputs, consolidates spending budgets and provides business analytics to HQ spending trend
b) Consolidates HQ allocation spend, understands drivers and related business impact
c) Performs variance analysis and provides commentary
3) General support
a) Collects and maintains industry and competitors models
b) Maintains oversight of PLC execution, pilot manufacturing schedules and support cost related to NPI builds
c) Key participant or lead for system integration or process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:
Key Requirements
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Previous FP&A type of experience a plus but not required
  • 4 year degree, strong Accounting skills, 3-5 years experience
  • Ability to multi task, good organization skills
