The Financial Analysis Senior Advisor will be responsible for consolidating department level financial information and performing forecasting, modeling, budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting at the overall company level as a part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. In addition to technical aptitude, this role will require excellent communication skills as it will involve collaborating with several other analysts and across business functions. This individual will provide daily support to senior Finance leadership and will be expected to deliver accurate, timely, and reliable information to help drive business decisions.
-Provide FP&A and decision support to assigned business partner function:
Creating and maintaining robust and driver-based P&L model
Managing the budget and forecast for functional area(s)
Playing a key role in building reporting and providing analytical context for financial and operating results to business partners at month and quarter end
Collaborating across business functions to perform the FP&A function at the highest level
Enforcing budget discipline and being a central financial control point
Performing ad hoc analysis and modeling to advance the business and to provide business partner decision support
-Business case modeling for investments in support of the PSC process
-Creating executive presentations, as required
As a managed security provider, SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.
-Undergraduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience
-Strong financial and business acumen
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence
-Great with PowerPoint and adept at taking large amount of information and putting it into presentation form for an executive audience
-Strong financial modeling expertise and advanced Excel skills
-Experience with Oracle, Adaptive Planning, SalesForce.com, SQL, and Workday preferred
-Industry background in technology or specifically in Managed Security Services preferred
