Accountemps is seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join a growing company in the Aerospace industry. We seek a candidate with a strong work ethic and a demonstrated competency in financial analysis. In this role, you will perform financial modeling on a number of financial products as well as be responsible for measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. You will also be responsible for advising management on the allocation of resources to best complete objectives and preparing reports for management. You will join a dynamic team as a key business partner in areas including forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. Located in the Hartford, Connecticut, area, this Financial Analyst role is a long term temporary employment opportunity. Key responsibilities - Empower effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support - Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment level Bookings and P L forecasting - Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required - Drive the business planning and strategy process - Operate with key senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization - Watch over annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations - Operate with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process - Provide analytical support during New Year readiness/Year End planning cycle - Become rooted within the Marketing and Customer Success organizations. Establish trust and quickly understand the key drivers of the business, economic trends and core metrics - Work closely with cross-functional partners in Accounting, Recruiting, People and Operations to execute against plans - Acquire a knowledge of and apply econometric and statistical methods to forecasting - Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending - Study performance to date and examine potential risks and opportunities
