Accountemps is looking for a zealous Financial Analyst to be part of a thriving company in the Retail industry. We seek someone who has internal drive and strong potential for professional growth and development. In this position, you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as have responsibility for measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. You will also be responsible for advising management on the allocation of resources to best complete objectives and preparing reports for management. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team serving as a key business partner in areas like forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role, which is a short term temporary-to-fulltime employment opportunity, is based in the Westborough, Massachusetts, area. Major responsibilities - Inspect performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities - Acquire a knowledge of and apply econometric and statistical methods to forecasting - Power monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required - Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization - Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending - Drive the strategy and business planning process - Facilitate effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support - Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment level Bookings and P L forecasting - Work with the Accounting group to lead the monthly and quarterly close process - Offer analytical support during New Year readiness/Year End planning cycle - Monitor monthly and quarterly performance by comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources effectively - Become rooted within the Marketing and Customer Success organizations. Establish trust and quickly understand the key drivers of the business, economic trends and core metrics - Work next to cross-functional partners in Accounting, Recruiting, People and Operations to execute against plans
