Financial Analyst - Manchester, NH $70K - $75K Our client is a global manufacturing company employing more than 3,000 people around the world. With operations on both the east and west coast, they currently have about 200USemployees. They continue to be the world's leading manufacturing, marketer, and distributor of advanced material, component, and assembly solutions used in a broad array of end products, manufacturing systems, and industries. SUMMARY: This role will be a 70/30 split between financial analysis and general ledger so the individual will need to be well rounded, having experience with P&L Statements, Balance Sheets and Budgeting. They will prepare and review financial statements and company reports required for financial reporting, internally and externally, to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness. They will assist the Accounting Manager and Director of Finance & Administration with overseeing accounting policies and procedures, internal accounting controls, and financial reporting. In addition they will assist other members of the accounting department and within the company in identifying/researching account transactions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assists with day to day financial activities and month end processes to insure the integrity of the general ledger as well as the company's financial reports Monthly Trial Balance and flux analysis review Prepares various monthly reconciliations including key balance sheet accounts such as fixed assets, prepaids, deferred rent, and patents, and others as necessary Reviews all balance sheet reconciliations prepared by department Participates in the preparation of the reporting packages and other month and quarter end reporting Participates in the budget and reforecasting process Assists in balance sheet forecasting and cash flow preparation Assists in preparation for quarterly and annual audits Responsible for finance projects that may be assigned periodically Review overall processes and procedures and make recommendations and plans for improvement Translate company requirements to financial reporting QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance 7+ years of accounting experience Experience within a manufacturing environment Experience with General Ledger, AR, AP, account reconciliation, month end close activities, cost accounting and financial analysis Strong interpersonal and analytical skills Proven problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and work independently Experience with Oracle R12 business software and various reporting tools To Apply - Please send a Word version of your resume to Once reviewed, our team will contact you regarding the next step.
