Job Summary:

Develops, interprets, and implements financial and accounting concepts and/or techniques for the temporary and EMS divisions.

Duties and Essential Job Functions:



  1. Lead, coordinate, consolidate and review annual budgeting and monthly forecasting activities.



  2. Compile and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial information for review of trends and issues and for distribution to management.



  3. Liaison with Corporate Accounting on accounting matters.



  4. Support branches and BDMs with the customer pricing pro forma, as needed.



  5. Coordinate annual temporary customer rate increase program.



  6. Prepare customer profitability studies, as part of the rate increase program and as needed.



  7. Assist in the development, maintenance and review of internal reporting system.



  8. Provide front line financial support for temporary and EMS divisions.



  9. Review and analyze weekly temporary reporting for trends and issues.



  10. Educate the field team on financial knowledge and provide front line assistance for any financial related items.



  11. Provide branch-level financial/reports training through one-on-one coaching and group sessions.



  12. Conducts special studies to analyze financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control or action.



  13. Manage responses to various external survey requests on frequent basis.



  14. Special analysis and projects as necessary.



  15. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.




Job Requirements Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
1.Understand and support the vision and Values of Staffmark.
2.A Bachelor�s degree in finance or accounting and a minimum of five to seven years of related experience in an accounting/financial position, or a combination of education and experience.
3.Staffing and/or payroll experience preferred.
4.High level proficiency with Microsoft Office products with advanced Excel skills.
5.Exposure to Cognos and TM1 a plus.
6.Experience in accounting systems and general knowledge of standard practices.
7.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8.Excellent customer service skills.
9.The ability to work with people at all levels with independence in opinion and integrity.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
1.The ability to work full-time (40 hours / week) with periodic evening and weekend work.
2.The ability to frequently use a computer, telephone, and copier/scanner/fax machine.
3.The ability to spend a majority of each work day sitting indoors.
4.The ability to, on occasion, stand, walk, bend, drive and spend time outdoors.
