The Commercial Finance Analyst will provide business partner support and sales performance reporting and analytics using various reporting tools and financial systems.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Extracting data from a sales data warehouse utilizing various querying tools and Excel for daily sales reporting
  • Resolving routine system problems relative to the various business systems in place as well as perform basic period end accounting. 
  • Performing sales and customer profit analytics
  • Delivering budget commitments, providing financial analytics, guidance and leadership to achieve department budget commitments
  • Analysis of collections costs and other cost of goods related expenses
  • Overseeing capital expenditure process
  • Ensuring SOX compliance with respect to commercial finance activities
  • Conducting meetings with selling leaders and interact with finance management and other functional areas throughout the organization including preparation of ad hoc materials used in senior level reviews
  • Identifying or participating in implementation of process improvements/standardization of activities within the Commercial finance team 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • A minimum of 1 years of finance and accounting experience is required.
  • Experience within tracking and analyzing sales performance and/or data is strongly preferred.
  • Experience within a regulated industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Medical device industry experience is preferred.
  • Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.  
  • Strong problem solving skills are required.
  • Intermediate/advanced Excel skills are required. 
  • PowerPoint and accounting software experience is preferred. 
  • Highly collaborative individual is required.
  • This role is located in Plymouth, MN.
  • Travel is minimal up to 5% for this role.
