We are seeking a self-motivated, career focused finance professional to join our Bank Solutions finance team as a Finance Analyst – Item Processing.  This individual will be responsible for preparing financial and business related analysis for a $300M Item Processing business.  The primary focus of this role is to help drive profitable business growth by providing strong financial planning, reporting and analysis enabling improved transparency and leadership decision making.

  • Perform monthly close and forecast process including reviewing and analyzing expense activity, recommending forecast decisions and preparing and loading forecasts
  • Analyze trends in sales, revenue, expense, general business conditions and other related areas
  • Analyze and assess risks and opportunities, develop key business metrics to drive revenue and reduce costs resulting in increased profitability and business growth
  • Support manager with the review of historical sales by financial institution and by product to understand conversion to revenue, time to implementation and overall impact of the sales organization on the growth of the business
  • Assist manager analyze historical key product volume trends isolating the impacts of new business and lost business to better understand existing client volume trends relative to the industry and benchmarks
  • Assist in the preparation of the Annual Long Range Plan, the Annual Operating Plan and the Annual Budget

  • Strong organization skills to facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment while responding quickly to management requests
  • Proficiency with Excel is required. SAP and SAP Business Analyzer knowledge is a preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as a team member

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required, CPA preferred. 0 to 3 years of applicable finance/accounting experience
