This position is part of the Supplemental Products Finance team within the Americas/Group Benefits CFO organization.  The Supplemental Products include Dental, Vision, and the Accident & Health products suite. The team works closely with the Market Segments and Pricing organizations to measure and achieve the products’ financial goals, and to respond to all additional financial requests from our partners in the Company.  The candidate who fills this position will play an integral role in satisfying all State reporting related to the individual states financials (premium, claims, lives, etc.); third party marketing requests for the product; responses to all Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for potential sales; and projecting and developing the multi-year lives plan, which aligns with the financial plan.  This position will also support the financial projection process with several ad-hoc projects.     

 

This position provides a great overview to group insurance and the Supplemental products (Dental, Vision and Accident & Health).

  • Support the financial plan strategies and monthly projection processes through the development of the lives plan and performing variance analysis, as necessary.
  • Support the annual financial reporting completed by Controllers, by completing supplemental schedules as requested by the various states (support to Schedule T & A).
  • Complete quarterly and annual marketing surveys (LIMRA, NADP, etc.).
  • Complete Request for Proposal questions to gain potential new sales.
  • Support the preparation of monthly/quarterly projection process for Dental, Vision, and A&H, as needed.
  • Track and analyze other Dental, Vision and Accident & Health metrics used by senior leadership.
  • Reconcile data between various sources and systems.
  • Ad hoc projects as they arise.
