The Chief Administrative Office (“CAO”) of Wells Fargo brings together enterprise functions that work to promote and protect the Wells Fargo culture and brand, and support team members. The Enterprise Staff Finance team is seeking a highly motivated financial professional to join the CAO Finance Team. The CAO Finance Team provides financial consulting to CAO leaders, promoting strong financial discipline and decision-making. Initial focus will be Human Resources financial performance, though team members will work strategically and horizontally across CAO and Staff Finance teams to ensure consistent approaches.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with significant financial services industry, accounting, reporting, and/or risk management experience. She/he will have a demonstrated track record of attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. She/he will be able to work independently, be highly organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Consulting with CAO/HR leaders regarding financial implications of business decisions, which might include efficiency opportunities, vendor costs, organizational changes, etc.
  • Proactive tracking and reporting of savings activities, both projections and realized impacts, for internal transparency and external communication aligned with enterprise E&E efforts
  • Active assessment, projections and reporting of required investments in CAO/HR, relative to regulatory/compliance activities, LOB driven volume or business needs, and enterprise investment
  • Financial partnership with PMOs and Investment Optimization team to integrate evolving enterprise approaches and support financial management of CAO/HR project spend and benefits
  • Complex and data-driven financial analysis with focus on active expense management and opportunities for reducing spend
  • Effective presentation and influencing of analysis results for rational business decision-making
  • Collaboration with CAO/HR leaders on financial accountabilities and managing with focus on key select cost drivers and measures
  • Assessment and development of streamlined financial approaches, including active change management support for Finance E&E Transitions with COEs
Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of finance experience
