Financial Systems Analyst
Alpharetta, GA

Position Overview
The Financial Systems Analyst role in the PMSO group of Revenue Shared Services provides analytical support to Project Managers and Stakeholders of projects within RSS. The PMSO group manages system change requests, new system implementations, system upgrades, new technology evaluations and serves as SMEs on projects outside RSS. The scope of projects can cover SAP, legacy systems, new technologies and interfaces between systems. Members of this group are also tasked with establishing and maintaining relationships with business partners and IT support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in project implementations, by documenting requirements and helping develop project plans and other project deliverables
  • Engage cross functional teams in the resolution of system issues affecting end users
  • Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests for project stakeholders and business system owners
  • Open system problem tickets and develop temporary solutions to business issues as they arise
  • Manage large quantities of data from a variety of systems to support analyses
  • Maintain and update key system tables used as inputs in transactional and reporting systems
  • Provide financial analysis of non-routine system related accounting issues and develop solutions when needed
  • Research data integrity issues and make recommendations for resolution
  • Lead/Act as SME for any system related upgrades and routine testing needs
Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
Related Experience: 3+ years' experience. Knowledge of legacy and SAP master data a plus.
