Job Summary

Processes automobile inventory report. Communicates current automobile inventory, license plate, and registration information to the Fleet Processing function. Answers phones and takes messages for manager. Essential duties and responsibilities, shown below, will vary accordingly based on assignment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processes automobile inventory report.
  • Communicates current automobile inventory, license plate, and registration information to the Fleet Processing function.
  • Answers phones and takes messages for manager.
  • Files all keys and paperwork taken out of new car packages.
  • Picks up license plates and decals for new automobiles.
  • Collects delivery receipts and pulls new car packages.
  • Takes titles and license plate receipts to auctions.
  • Audits key files quarterly to clear out deleted unit's keys.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have formal supervision responsibilities.

Qualifications (may vary by level)

Required Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in the vehicle registration process a plus.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Mathematical skills.
  • Ability to type quickly and accurately.
  • Knowledge of computer including Microsoft Office programs.
  • Rental car knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.

Travel Requirements

Minimal travel is required.
