ummary: / / This is a highly skilled forklift equipment mechanic position to perform a variety of assigned work tasks to include those related to the maintenance, repair and upkeep of the CVS Health equipments and fixtures. This responsibility also includes diagnosing any mechanical, electrical, and any breakdown or failure of a forklift. The forklift mechanic will make sure that forklifts are safe and in working standard. This position will conduct inspections, order parts; handle preventive maintenance and trouble shoot problems while logging work done on the forklift. / / Essential Functions: / • Complete periodic and maintenance as required to forklift equipments according to schedule. / • Perform daily inspections of entire forklift fleet. / • Ensure all equipment is operating properly and safely. / • Maintain repair order records. / • Perform emergency breakdown repairs on forklift equipment. / • Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems. / • Responsible for performing all job duties with honesty and integrity. / • Adhere to established federal/state/company safety procedures. / • Perform various repairs upon general instructions from by the department lead/supervisor and or manager. /

Required Qualifications
At least 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in material handling maintenance. / • General experience in electric, machine shop, welding (gas and electric) and material handling equipment. / • Ability to work closely with all levels of management. / • Ability to follow through on assignments or projects / • Ability to work with minimal supervision / • Good communication and interpersonal skills / • Ability to manage stress in self within a fast-paced environment, adapting readily to change. / • Strong electrical control background. /

Preferred Qualifications
Previous Warehouse Experience

High School diploma or equivalent
