Job Description:
This role will be an integral part of the FP&A team, providing financial analytical support to the Commercial Excellence Team. The candidate will work in partnership with the business functional leads in ops reviews, commercial and functional reporting and ad hoc analysis needs. There will be some project specific work as well. Travel will be 10-15%.

  • Provide financial sales support including sales productivity, quota setting, revenue and margin projections
  • Responsible for meeting Commercial financial commitments, developing and driving affordability and productivity models, and various ad-hoc financial analysis to support key business decisions
  • Maintain close alignment with the business partners and Sales functional leadership to fulfill analysis requirements
  • Maintain understanding of business operations/environment within the team in order to provide Operating Review commentary
  • Participate in special projects to improve reporting, analytical tools and internal processes to enhance management decision process
  • Drive simplification effort across global/regional commercial support to drive standardization and best practices (e.g. via data feeds, process improvements, etc.)
  • Responsible for budgeting/forecasting of appropriate functional costs
  • Drive the creation of process documentation for activities which reside within team
  • Demonstrated financial analysis and modeling expertise


Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent degree required. MBA, CPA, or other advanced certification preferred
  • 5+ years or equivalent experience, focused on functional support, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis & modeling
  • Commercial Excellence experience preferred
  • Analytical, hardworking, driven, opportunity seeking, quick learner
  • Proficient in MS-Office,
  • Proficiency in Essbase and Hyperion Financial Management preferred but not required
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Ability to provide thought leadership to shape future decisions
  • Ability to manage processes to deliver required results
  • Ability to work independently, and proactively develop solutions with minimal guidance
  • Capacity to analyze complex problems and make decisions in a timely manner
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in a highly-matrixed organization
  • Business acumen (Tyco preferred)
  • Periodic travel required
