Job Description
The Financial Services industry is operating in a challenging environment due to global economic pressure, increasing regulatory demands and capital requirements, and significant operational and technology changes. Our growing Financial Services Advisory team provides strategy, management, technology and risk consulting services to help major financial institutions around the world respond to their most complex business challenges. The Financial Services Advisory practice is composed of three industry sectors: Asset Management, Banking and Capital Markets, and Insurance.

Our Risk & Regulatory consultants help clients understand and address their enterprise risk and regulatory profile. This high performing team advises clients on the overall management and performance of their business, with a focus in compliance management, business continuity, risk and governance, and treasury management.

PwC's Fraud team is a part of the Financial Crimes Unit (FCU), which delivers cutting edge strategic and operational expertise to C-suites and Boards grappling with increasingly complex financial threats. The focus of the Fraud team is on fraud detection, prevention, investigation and reporting processes, systems, and controls. PwC has deep knowledge and extensive experience developing and implementing financial crimes/fraud management programs at financial institutions globally. We have helped major financial institutions develop and execute on their fraud strategies, conduct fraud risk assessments, develop fraud and financial crimes-related policies, create playbooks for key fraud events, select and implement fraud technology solutions, and assess and improve their controls design and environment. We do this by working collaboratively with our clients to meet anti-fraud challenges and by utilizing our proprietary tools and accelerators to deliver best-in-class fraud services and deliverables.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years of data assurance, data analysis or data management

experience as it relates to supporting business processes, internal auditing or external audit procedures

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems or business related field

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of:
Performing on project teams and providing deliverables involving multiphase data analysis related to the evaluation of accounting and/or financial issues.
Accounting ledger and sub-ledger applications to interpret requests and reconcile data.
Evaluating accounting, business process, operational, and, or, financial issues.
Database concepts including building relationships between tables, grouping data, and following steps to create cohesive analyses.
Data manipulation and analysis technologies inclusive of Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, ACL, ASCII, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, Microsoft .NET framework, HTML or XML.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven track record of success with operating in a professional services firm or large enterprise as a consultant, auditor or business process specialist.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge and or a proven record of success with identifying and obtaining new service opportunities and taking the opportunities through the sales cycle, including the following:
Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, and billing and collection;
Identifying and addressing client needs, including developing and sustaining extensive client relationships;
Assisting with the leading of teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.

Demonstrates thorough project management skills in relation to data management projects, including developing project plans, budgets, and deliverables schedules.
Demonstrates creative thinking, individual initiative, and flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success with researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry, and technical matters.
