General Summary :
Export, Cold Chain Management, GxP Compliance
  • To possess the ability to process cargo for export adhering to the instructions provided.
  • To review and comprehend temperature handling related instructions in order to preserve he product temperature
  • To follow interdepartmental instructions along with directions from foreign offices to prepare the shipment for export and smooth customer clearance at destination.
SHIFT:
Training Period 3 months- 6 months working Monday- Friday (day shifts between 8AM-7PM)

Open Position:
Sunday- Thursday OR Tuesday- Saturday, overnight from 11:00PM-7:30AM

Principle Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Forward & Receive shipments from the Dispatch Department and assure correct handling by:
    • Verifying all attached paperwork
    • Adhering to all replenishment needs
    • Prepare Bill of Lading (Domestic and International shipments by Air and Truck)
    • Secure cargo space by booking via Telecomm, web, e-mail)
    • File Shipper's Export Declarations for high valued shipments
    • Pre-screen cargo for export
  • Refurbish reusable packaging
  • Monitor, respond to and action follow up notes in a timely manner
  • Monitor, respond to and action personal and group email accounts in a timely manner
  • Monitor all "On-Hold" shipments for export and/or delivery approval
  • Monitor and update the Outbound Flight Monitor
  • Proficiency in Cold Chain Management which will include but not limited to
  • Gel Pack/Packaging preparation
  • Gel Pack/Packaging refurbishment
  • Gel Pack/Packaging configuration
  • Maintain all individual Training Records, Certificates and Qualifications and complete tests by due date
  • Assist all Leadership Team Members in all daily functions and/or activities needed
  • Operate a Forklift
  • Monitor site Inventory usage of Supplies and Packaging
  • Post departure tracking
  • GxP Compliance


Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in International Exports (Incl. Trouble destinations and their importation requirements, FedEx Freight)
  • Proficient in Domestic Exports (Incl. Dicom/Eastern Connection, Town Air Freight, Trans boarder, FedEx, UPS),
  • Proficient in UPS Exports
  • Enviro-tainer and Active Unit Handling Certified
  • Live Animal Handling Certified
  • Dangerous Goods Handling Certified
  • Fully knowledgeable on high value shipments and SED filing
  • Can handle shipments requiring special documentations ( ex: Cities, DEA, F&W, Carnet, In-Bond, Health Certificates US16-4 )
  • Forklift Certified
  • Certified to Screen Cargo

  • Full understanding and Certification in Cold Chain Management
  • Full understanding of GxP compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Flexibility in Work Schedule - we are a 24hr company and will require overtime, holiday scheduling and weekend shifts if necessary
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions
  • Team Player
  • Possess the ability to lift 50lbs
Proficient in Worldstar, ACE, OAG, Optiview, Webdoc, Opstar, and all World Courier systems/software- preferred not required
