Accountemps has a temporary to full-time opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for all general accounting and bookkeeping functions, such as preparing financial statements, and establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives. Based in the North Houston area, the Full Charge Bookkeeper role is a temporary opportunity that could lead into a permanent position. Responsibilities of the Full Charge Bookkeeper include: - Assisting with Accounts Payable - Accounts Receivable and Cash Applications - Assisting with processing payroll for up to 50 employees - Producing the trial balance and financial statements, including, but not limited to, balance sheet and statements of income and of cash flows - Completing monthly, quarterly, and year end close, on time and in an accurate manner - Studying and implementing federal, state, and local legal requirements, filing reports, and communicating with management on needed actions - Performing reconciliations for bank and general ledgers - Preparing depreciation schedules by tracking fixed assets This is an excellent opportunity that offers a ton of growth potential with a reputable company!
