PayPal's Globalization Team is looking for expert JavaScript engineers to help build applications and web services that support Globalization for all PayPal applications. As a member of the team, you will help us develop product solutions and deliver features that power the next generation of Globalization apps. You will be involved from ideation to rollout.

Responsibilities :
  • Participate in development life cycle activities like design, coding, testing and production release.
  • Partner closely with product to craft great product experiences.
  • Be a crafts(wo)man and encourage code craftsmanship.
  • Deliver code in an agile team environment.
  • Lead code reviews to drive team to the highest standards for Node.js apps & web apps.
  • Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.

Requirements :
  • Someone passionate about developing amazing user experiences.
  • 3+ years (5+ years preferred) experience with web application development including Node.js applications on top of RESTful APIs.
  • Solid knowledge of popular JS frameworks and libraries (React, Redux, Angular, Ember, Underscore, etc.)
  • Experience with web frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Webpack, LESS, Bootstrap.
  • Experience building server side Java applications a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong desire to learn, push the envelope, and share knowledge with others.
