The Lot Attendant's duties will include the movement and cleanliness of the cars within and between brands at the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Rental Car Center. The main responsibilities of this position will be driving rental cars within the Rental Car Center, inspecting, and cleaning cars just before they reach the ready lines at Alamo, Enterprise, and National Car Rental.  This team will be responsible to keep clean, serviced cars at all three brands and to ensure the product on the ready line meets our brand standards.  Additionally, we will be using an electronic Quality Assurance app to inspect vehicles on our ready lines, ensuring we are proactive in meeting our customer’s needs.  Duties will include preparing additional items such as Child Safety Seats and GPS units and will include final cleanliness touchups, in addition to moving cars for service work, to and from the pumps, and within the lot itself.  EHI at Sky Harbor has over 20 acres between the service lot and parking garage, so organizational ability and discipline will be important skills to possess.


Responsibilities:

The Lot Attendant is responsible for the care and maintenance of the cars on the lot. This includes vacuuming and prepping the cars, shuttling cars to and from car washes and dealerships for servicing, car transports to and from offices, checking fluid levels, and changing tires.

  • Clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by operating washing equipment
  • Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body, by hand
  • Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)
  • Determine need for and add windshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze
  • Perform basic maintenance check: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
  • Verify appropriate stickers are attached to vehicle (registration, plates, etc.)
  • May be responsible for maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies
  • May assist with local automobile deliveries
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have 6 months of prior work experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
  • No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

Apart from religious observations, must be able to work the following schedule:

  • 1st shift starting between 6am and 10am with two days off during the week. Must be available to work weekends and holidays
