General Manager 3 - Food

We’re currently seeking a General Manager of Food Services to join our organization in Lakeport, CA. Lakeport is located on the western shores of Clear Lake. This position will report directly to the District Manager, and will be responsible for day to day leadership of the food and nutrition services at Sutter Lakeside Hospital. Sodexo provides best in class services for patient dining, retail café operations and onsite catering services. **As our General Manager, your responsibilities will include:** Oversee all day to day food and nutrition services Integrate fully within our client's organization becoming a trusted advisor and member of the accounts leadership team. Achieving company and client financial targets and goals Work to achieve continuous improvement in patient satisfaction scores. Meet (or exceed) Sodexo standards of operations. Qualifications for this position include Certified Dietary Manager certification (or Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, etc), experience with CMS and Joint Commission and other regulatory compliance requirements. **CDM Certification OR** **RD candidates preferred** . Candidates that do not have an RD or CDM will be required to obtain a CDM certification within 24 months. The ideal candidate will have prior General Management experience in a healthcare food service operation and the ability to successfully lead and develop a team as well as the ability to creatively and effectively problem solve and manage projects. Ideal candidate must have the ability to manage and execute multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and have the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Candidates must be outgoing and able to interact with the client, customers as well as staff. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connection (TMC) or similar systems as well as proficient computer skills and report management experience. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.
