•Leads all Global Franchise activities related to driving growth and best in class commercial execution of the core AcrySof IOL business.
•Develops and implements commercial franchise strategy for current IOL base business, including incremental innovation road-map, as well as optimization of targeting, positioning, and messaging (through medical evidence generation etc.) •Identifies and refines global customer segmentation strategy for IOLs
•Creates and implements global pricing strategy for core IOL portfolio in collaboration with Global/Regional Pricing teams, global Market Access & Health Care Economics experts
•Cooperates with industry thought leaders and KOLs on messaging, positioning, and other commercial opportunities
•Leads commercial input (including definition of Target Product Profiles and development of medical evidence plans) for all incremental innovation projects
•Oversees global commercial execution of incremental innovations through the Launch Readiness Review Process and annual Franchise Brand Plans
•Enhances the customer experience (including optimization of IOL consignment strategy, S&OP process, manufacturing capacity etc.)

•Minimum: 10 years of directly related experience; Preferred: 10+ years healthcare/medical device and brand management experience, successfully driving development/growth of multiple products/brands.
•Proven track-record in creating sound innovation strategies and implementing them successfully
•Demonstrated experience in setting a vision, successfully developing and leading business cases, driving new product strategies, and creating launch plans
•Previous work experience in ophthalmology; specifically IOLs and medical device technologies
•Experience in marketing/commercialization of products in multiple countries
•Experience in Global Franchise management
•Experience leading cross functional teams and motivating key stakeholders towards common goals
•Knowledge in general supply chain and manufacturing processes
