This position will play a key role working with cross-functional teams to deliver on departmental initiatives. Amgen's Worldwide Compliance and Business Ethics department consists of a highly qualified and motivated team of professionals who will bring high levels of integrity, respect, experience, talent, perseverance, intelligence, creativity, energy and passion.
This position will report to the Director in Global Healthcare Compliance Operations, System Design and Process Management. This Specialist will be required to understand various policies that are then translated into efficient and scalable processes for a global audience. This position will be accountable for coordinating efforts with implementation vendors and Information Systems (IS) partners to ensure requirements are completely met through innovative design and management of global initiatives including but not limited to Transparency and Disclosure, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and resolution of technical and business process issues
Understanding and implementation of ongoing business needs and change requests
Generating metrics and business data on a periodic basis and on-demand
Partnering with other functional areas within Compliance Operations to identify or recommend implementation of process efficiencies and data accuracy
Identifying potential business issues and providing technical solutions for improved efficiencies
Implement automated processes when Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are launched or updated
Maintain and support the current Operations Systems and tools:
Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for support and maintenance on both Healthcare Compliance Reporting (HCR) and Comprehensive Compliance Controls (C3) SystemsAssume System Admin role to manage user access control, Data Management, ensure data accuracy and integrity
Assume Business Owner backup role to implement changes, perform business impact assessments, develop test scripts, and take on release management responsibilities
Be the liaison between Global Healthcare Compliance Operations and Amgen Information Systems
Synthesize concepts to recommend potential opportunities to bridge and integrate systems to improve data quality and user efficiency/experience
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree
Master's degree and 3 years of Compliance, Operations or IS experience
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of Compliance, Operations or IS experience
Associate's degree and 10 years of Compliance, Operations or IS experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Compliance, Operations or IS experience
Preferred Qualifications
Able to track and manage projects at a detailed level
Able to develop effective solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
