Title: Global Legal Education Lead Career Level: I8 (Sr. Advisor) Reporting to: COO & Vice President, Legal Strategy & Operations **Job Duties:** + Principal learning and development resource for Dell legal department. + Execute, manage and monitor multi-faceted department-wide leadership & development strategy internally for Dell’s Legal department based on priorities as well as within the global enterprise for key target groups, such as Legal team clients. + Understand key risk areas across the department to develop and execute solutions to address training needs aligned to those. + Partner with GC Organization leadership and Legal Counsel across various practice areas to uncover and fill educational gaps. + Liaise and collaborate with key stakeholders within Legal, Ethics & Compliance, HR, Audit and other departments, including the business, to understand risk, determine priorities, and develop / launch education. + Assist in managing relationships and contracts with key educational vendors, as well as internal IT support groups involved in implementation and long-term maintenance of tools. + Participate in relevant global learning forums / groups within HR and the businesses to develop and maintain relationships in Dell’s learning community + Partner closely with Global Communications lead to align brand and messaging. + Develop learning content and courses interactively that can be delivered to virtual audiences. + Develop measurements of success in key initiatives and trainings implemented. **Job Responsibilities:** + Help determine and support annual strategic plan that aligns to the vision and mission of the GC Organization and its leadership. + Develop content and maintain Legal’s online career resource center. + Integrate with other Learning and Development peers inside and outside of Dell. + Connect with all key stakeholders to identify training priorities, create and / or updating training content and map requirements. + Leverage and improve-upon systems, tools and processes available to launch, manage / administer, monitor and report on training and the target audience members. + Work with necessary technical teams to ensure tools and systems are properly implemented and are in working order. + Work with HR team members to ensure training is aligned with key organizational and HR programs and initiatives and reflect Dell’s People Strategy and Diversity goals. **Job Responsibilities:** + Help determine annual strategic plan that aligns to the vision and mission of the GC Organization and its leadership. + Creation of stakeholder toolsets to help drive more successful engagement within the field. + Integrate with other Learning and Development peers inside and outside of Dell. + Connect with all key stakeholders to identify training priorities, create and/or update training content and map requirements. + Leverage and improve-upon systems, tools and processes available to launch, manage/administer, monitor and report on training and the target audience members. + Work with necessary technical teams to ensure tools and systems are properly implemented and are in working order. + Work with HR team members to ensure training is aligned with key organizational and HR programs and initiatives and reflect Dell’s People Strategy and Diversity goals. **Job Qualifications:** + Knowledge of legal and compliance risk areas (not subject matter expert) and how to identify and structure strategic educational solutions + Strong knowledge of learning and development concepts and methodology, including measurement. + History working within technology solutions and internet. + Ability to project-manage solution development and execution. + Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills. + Ability to think creatively and function well in team environment. + High degree of poise and tact in interfacing with and presenting to internal customers, including high level executives, and external vendors. + Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams. + High degree of sensitivity to confidential information. + Detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who feels comfortable making decisions quickly. + Bachelor’s degree or higher. + 5+ years working experience, preferably within a corporate legal department, law firm or legal vendor firm **_Dell_** _is an equal opportunity employer.
