The Global Marketing Senior Manager is responsible for support and development of Health Care Provider (HCP) promotional platform including creative campaign development and evolution plus messaging and materials. In addition, this role will be responsible for establishing a deep understanding of the patient journey and facilitating insight gathering and leverage points. Building on this understanding of the patient journey, the role is also accountable for mapping the support ecosystem for the brand and the digital footprint in coordination with other key functions. Finally, the role will develop and deliver core patient materials in support of the brand and disease state education to help facilitate market execution. These activities will be supported by gaining a solid understanding of the therapeutic area, customer needs, and insights into future drivers of customer choice.
Key responsibilities include:
Support the Director of Promotions in development of the core HCP campaign, promotional materials and messaging including updates to message platform, brand kit, and core material deliverables.
Develop a very robust assessment of the future therapeutic landscape including deep insights into the customer, marketplace, competitors, and business drivers. Extrapolate this assessment into a deep understanding of the patient journey and use this knowledge to facilitate identification of key insights and potential leverage points in the journey. Capture market patient journeys and develop a core journey with identification of key differences across markets.
Map the current ecosystems deployed across markets to support patients/HCPs and understand how these activities align to key leverage points in the patient journey. Facilitate best practice sharing across markets and work with internal Amgen technology and Customer Experience teams to assess and recommend new capabilities to enhance the product ecosystem and market penetration.
Work with internal Amgen technology and Customer Experience teams to develop a global plan that maps the digital ecosystem for patients and prescribers.
Work with cross-functional teams (Amgen Digital Health, Customer Experience, Market Research, Development, Regulatory, Competitive Intelligence, Operations) in assessing long-term strategic options to support patient efforts, digital capabilities, and ecosystem support initiatives.
Serve as the interface with cross-functional teams as it relates to patient journey and activities (e.g., market leads, customer experience, engineering, operations, clinical, market research).
Doctorate degree and 2 years of marketing or marketing and sales experience
Master's degree and 4 years of marketing or marketing and sales experience
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of marketing or marketing and sales experience
Associate's degree and 10 years of marketing or marketing and sales experience
High school diploma/GED and 12 years of marketing or marketing and sales experience
6+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience with strong experience with
successful product launches
Relevant therapeutic area experience (sales, marketing and/or payer experience, device)
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work and influence effectively within a matrix structure
Demonstrated ability to work with agency partners to develop impactful messaging that is based on market insights
Excellent written, analytical and verbal communication skills
Strong business judgment and emotional intelligence
