The Global Marketing Senior Manager, romosozumab, will be responsible for the development and execution of critical global marketing strategic initiatives to support a successful launch of this important phase 3 program. This position will be involved in key marketing activities such as HCP messaging, lifecycle management, tradename, device strategy and other launch preparation and support activities. The role will be highly cross-functional, cross-regional, involve strong collaboration with our partner company, as well as close collaboration within the Amgen bone franchise. This position - building a brand for successful launch - is highly desirable for any marketer seeking a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic, high performing team.
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree and 2 years of marketing or marketing and sales experience
OR
Master's degree and 4 years of marketing or marketing and sales experience
OR
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of marketing or marketing and sales experience
OR
Associate's degree and 10 years of marketing or marketing and sales experience
OR
High school diploma/GED and 12 years of marketing or marketing and sales experience
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of deep marketing experience including experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
Strong commercial acumen, marketing capabilities and strategic thinking capabilities
Relevant therapeutic area experience (sales, marketing and/or payer experience)
Demonstrated ability to work with, motivate and manage agency partners
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work and influence effectively within a highly matrixed structure
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong business judgment and emotional intelligence
Act as a role model for others in line with Amgen values
Proactive, results-oriented self-starter motivated by a challenging task
