Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure and Operations (MCIO) is the engine that powers Microsoft's cloud services. The team is responsible for designing, building and operating our unified global datacenters, managing the demand planning and capacity utilization of our unified infrastructure, and responsible for all of the operations needed to run the physical infrastructure (including supply chain, hardware, power, security, and workflow teams). At the forefront of the action in MCIO is Global Datacenter Operations (GDCO) Group! The GDCO Business Operations Team is a global and multi disciplinary team that supports the GDCO organization by running global programs leveraging expertise in Contract and Procurement Support, Vendor Account Management, Business Management and Financial ROB (rhythm of business).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Rent and Power Program Subject Matter Expertise for rent and power for all GDCO datacenters.
-Partner with Site Selection, Finance and Accounting teams. Creation and maintenance of Purchase Orders.
-Variance analysis, validation and verification of rent and power invoices. Increase efficiency between budgetary and reporting mechanism for rent and power.
-Coordination and analysis on all rent & power purchase orders and rent roll costs, weekly review with business partners.
-Ensure all power utility invoices are reviewed by DCs and approved for payment.
-Financial ROB support Provide financial support for all business divisions within GDCO, with a focus on vendor spend and FTE Headcount management.
-Vendor Account Management Programs Support other Vendor Account Management Programs (IT, Critical Environments, Facility Management).

Basic Qualifications:
-5 years experience in business operations

Preferred Qualifications:
-Basic Finance Knowledge
-Agility in Excel and data management
-Datacenter, RE&F Management experience
-Ability to partner closely with a variety of stakeholders to collaborate for impact
-Strong project management skills including ability to simultaneously lead multiple, complex projects
-Proven analytical skillset in the context of demand forecasting and management
-Ability to provide thought leadership and clearly communicate future state strategic direction
-Balance competing demands for resources and adapt to changing priorities
-BS/BA or equivalent experience
