Description:

The Publications Operations Coordinator will assist the Global Scientific and Medical Publications Operations Director with periodic and recurring medical publication support activities. The operational responsibilities will include financial management support, publication agency contracting and budget management, publication project data quality, compliance, departmental metrics and distribution of time-sensitive scientific presentation material. The position will also assist in the identification, deployment and oversight of departmental technology platforms supporting financial, project management and content archival operations.


Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
  • BS (or BA plus experience in a scientific discipline or clinical research).
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Two (2) years of medical communications agency, finance, scientific affairs, research or knowledgement management experience.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Advanced interpersonal and written communication skills. Good project management and organizational skills to manage competing timelines. Proficiency in Microsoft applications. Publication management software applications experience a plus.
