Job Description:
PayPal is constantly striving to respond to the ever changing demands of our customers and partners. As part of its Go-To-Market Priorities, PayPal is establishing Shared Services and Centre's of Excellence to deliver capability and expertise at scale to support regional sales & marketing. This role is an exciting opportunity within the newly formed Global Lifecycle Shared Service, whose purpose is to enable the application and acceleration of best practice Customer Lifecycle Management globally. Through close collaboration with regional lifecycle marketing leads and internal partners, we will improve customer experiences and drive business outcomes.
Within the Global Lifecycle Service, this person will gather and amalgamate the needs and use cases from the regional marketing and operations teams as input to our marketing technology platform providers. Specifically, this role will work cross functionally to capture requirements for major initiatives, identify areas of commonality across regional needs and ensure consensus on business prioritization for roadmap planning. In addition, the role will support the preparation of business cases and the quantitative and qualitative analysis of business benefits.
This is a key position within the Global Lifecycle Service (GLS) where the person will be working closely with the regional marketing and operations teams across PayPal's core markets - North America, Latin America, Europe/Middle East/Africa and Asia Pacific and the Customer Engagement Product team that is responsible for the marketing technology platforms. Along with the definition of needs, the person will be involved throughout the development process to ensure alignment of solutions to business outcomes will support solution and user testing and change management. This will include the assessment of marketing processes and business readiness and establishing quality assurance processes.
The ideal candidate will need to have excellent organizational and communications skills, be able to foster strategic partnerships, have strong business acumen and a roll up your sleeves attitude to solving challenging problems. The role requires a high energy business analyst who has experience in marketing environments and is passionate about delivering business results.
The success of this candidate will be predicated on the ability to thrive in a matrixed organization where collaboration, alignment and best practice knowledge sharing are critical.
This position will report to the Sr. Director of Global Lifecycle Shared Services.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Support the Marketing Technology and end-user adoption work stream for the Global Lifecycle Service
  • Partner with Regional Lifecycle Marketing teams to define business needs and operational requirements
  • Amalgamate requirements and drive cross-regional stakeholder conversations to prioritise requirements into a single, agreed set of asks
  • Develop effective communication processes to ensure visibility of requirement prioritization and delivery to Regional Marketing teams
  • Define processes to assess business readiness and identify gaps between technology deployment and end-user adoption
  • Support the capability development process during solution design and quality assurance
  • Support the development of business cases for major new marketing technology investments
  • Work with adjacent Shared Services, such as Digital and Brand, Creative and Content, to ensure alignment of common business needs
