The Group Leader, Consumable Manufacturing will be responsible for:
Providing functional management and technical leadership for the Cyclesure, cassette and booster manufacturing teams
Developing production schedules that consistently meet customer demand while delivering on inventory targets
Maintaining a comprehensive set of metrics (dashboard) to track manufacturing performance with regards to supply and quality
Taking action to ensure the highest level of performance by his team
Participates and/or leads continuous improvement initiatives to improve manufacturing performance in the areas of quality, supply and cost
Collaborates with business partners on special projects, teams and committees
Assisting Management in attaining budget targets
Assisting Management in the development of goals, objectives and other key initiative
Ensuring that direct employees have / develop the necessary skills to perform their jobs and conducts employees’ performance management
Performing other administrative tasks as required (i.e. change orders, purchasing, training, etc.)
Ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance within his team and takes action to correct any non-conformances, deviations
Attending Irvine Plant Value Stream meetings as required
Performing other tasks as assigned by Management

A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a technical or science discipline with six (6) years of relevant experience  OR a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of four (4) years of medical device and/or operations experience is required 
An advanced degree is preferred 
Previous management or supervisory experience in the healthcare industry is preferred
Previous Manufacturing or Quality Assurance experience is preferred 
Must be proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, Powerpoint is required
Experience with MiniTab (statistical software) is required 
Green Belt and/or Black Belt certification and/or training is preferred 
Located in Irvine, CA and may require up to 5% domestic travel
