Lead the Customer Operations Billing Operations and Billing Design functions through developing, implementing, and overseeing billing strategy, data center management, billing operations and vendor management for CSG and ICOMS Billing platforms. Define the vision and strategy to effectively manage and execute billing operations, conversions, service delivery provisioning, and implementation of provisioning applications. Lead the operational components of the Billing Operations and Billing Design leadership teams to drive customer experience and productivity improvements.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Develop and implement strategies and processes that drive development and implementation of billing system design, operational processes and billing conversions.
Plan, develop, implement and oversee practices that result in highly effective processes for order entry, desktop system capabilities and data center management.
Manage vendor relationships, including vendor performance, service agreements and negotiations.
Drive strategies and processes relating to service delivery provisioning and provisioning applications.
Keep abreast of, and bring to Charter, evolving billing and desktop technologies that enable customers to effectively interact with Charter’s infrastructure systems.
Leads the development of solutions to complex billing problems and works with the system designers to integrate solutions within existing systems.
Foster a culture of consistency, accountability and continuous improvement.
Attract and retain highly effective management and supervisory staff through mentoring, coaching, development, appraisal and motivation techniques.
Assist in the preparation and management of capital budget, operating budget, and expense management for assigned area.
Perform other related duties, as assigned.
General Skills / Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Thorough understanding of billing system software systems. CSG & ICOMS system knowledge a plus.
Solid understanding of computer information technology, including relational database technology,
3-tiered client server technology, SOA, IP, and web technology.
Familiarity with latest and emerging technologies relating to billing and provisioning systems.
Proven track record of developing staff and maintaining a high standard of employee relations
Ability to communicate orally and in writing, in a clear and straightforward manner
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
Ability to define key performance indicators / metrics
Ability to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure

Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
