The Generics Pricing Manager will develop and execute pricing strategies to maintain and grow new business and expanding generics profit margins. This individual will focus on actively manage portfolio margins for our key customers in the retail and health system pharmacy segments. The Manager will need to build strong working relationships with external and internal customers to maintain customer engagement and find opportunities for growth and/or work through pricing issues to maintain business. The Manager will take a leadership role on key initiatives to grow generics spend with our customers. The individual will be responsible for overall competitive landscape with our independent retail segment by creating dashboards, reporting and tools to increase McKesson’s opportunity for growth and/or profitability. Also, he/she will need to possess strong people management skills to ensure development and engagement of direct report. These responsibilities will require strong leadership, customer relationship, people management and strategic skills to ensure critical decisions and actions are made to foster continued growth and maintain strong profit margins.

Obtain strong customer partnerships with external customers to avoid leakage of sales to competitors
Ability to bring forth new pricing strategies to increase portfolio profitability and increase/maintain sales
8+ years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexible and adaptive to changes
Exceptional organizational, project management skills are critical
Time management, including ability to organize and prioritize work to consistently meet critical daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and report data
Proficient with MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word, financial modeling and reporting.
Ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external business partners
Ability to work with autonomy
BA required. Area of study: Business Finance or Marketing, Statistics, or Economics
Knowledge of retail Generics products and program offerings a plus
