In this position you will be part of the Platform Engineering Group (PEG) Manufacturing Validation Engineering team responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of Intel's products from component feasibility stage through production ramp. In this role, you will develop validation and production test hardware solutions for Intel's next generation of processors and devices. You will be interfacing with circuit and logic design teams and test content development teams worldwide to develop the test hardware solutions to maintain Intel's design and manufacturing quality. The Hardware team responsibilities include design specification, PCB design, simulations, prototyping, and validation that lead to high volume manufacture.
BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Proven hardware design skills with experience in high speed design.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to influence cross-group technical stakeholders .
Ability to work well in a diverse, dynamic, and rapidly changing environment.
Must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Cadence or Mentor.
Experience in the design and analysis of high-speed digital interconnects, such as PCIE, DDR, etc.
Experience with signal integrity simulation tools such as HSpice.
Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDRs or VNAs
Experience using scripting languages such as Perl or Python
Experience driving ATE to support debug and characterization is desirable including working with platform and system level validation teams to identify and close silicon issues.
Experience of Lean principles and working in an Agile development environment
