Field Sales Account Executive for the Navy/Marine Corps Hardware business for the Oracle National Security Group based in either the San Diego area or the Washington/Virginia/Maryland area. Responsible for the sale of Oracle Hardware, System Software and Professional Services to National Security Navy/Marine Corps components defined and Top Secret SAP/SAR programs and projects.
Works on the Military Intelligence Team comprised of Top Secret cleared, account executive, sales engineer and management/leadership to identify, design and deliver Oracle HW solutions to the US Military Intelligence community.
Target customer include: ONI (Office of Naval Intelligence), Marine Corps Intelligence and elements of Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence community, USPACOM, Navy Special Warfare Command and others.
This position is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory.
Works as part of an account team to identify, qualify and deliver Hardware products/ solutions. Responsible for the account plan to drive goal attainment in assigned territory. Coordinates with the other members of the sales team (employees and partners) to support account sales and business development strategies. Helps identify and engage the appropriate partner to meet customer specifications. Becomes trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers. Drives company's strategy into assigned accounts. Follows all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit. Ensures that the company's sales programs are known and executed in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities. Achieves or exceeds the quarterly and annual sales goals. May travel frequently.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 10 plus years experience. BA/BS degree preferred.
