The Talent Management Group drives the overall field strategy relative to the sourcing, selection, and development of Financial Advisor Associates for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. The Head of FAA Talent Acquisition oversees all aspects of sourcing, selection, of the Financial Advisor Associate Program. The Head FAA Talent Acquisition supports this program by supporting the development of recruiting and training processes for qualified individuals seeking a career as a Financial Advisor, including selection tool development and process implementation.

This person will serve as the conduit between Field Management and Talent Management relative to the sourcing, selection, hiring, and on-boarding of Financial Advisor Associates. They will also be a resource for Field Management.

• Partner with Field Management to provide necessary tools, resources, and training in order to successfully source high-quality new Financial Advisor Associates
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the overall Selection Strategy
• Assist in the development and implementation of Divisional sourcing and selection strategies
• Oversee creation and delivery of in-branch interview training for management
• Research, design and implement programs to test alternatives and increase retention
• Participate in ongoing validation studies of assessments
• Interpret and assist others in interpreting a variety of assessment tools
• Manage the development and implementation of our applicant tracking system
• Analyze and report a variety of sourcing, selection and training data using various tools
• Appropriately communicate policies and best practices to field managers
• Lead standardized selection process relative to defined Associate profile which includes completion of required assessments
• Foster and grow relationships that develop into true partnerships
• Help interpret variety of pre-employment assessment tools including Application Tracking System
• Recommend strategies to improve Associate selection and retention
• Drive effective field activity by tracking progress of hiring
• Gather and disseminate competitive intelligence
• Support targeted diversity initiatives
• Able to create standardized recruiting processes to improve recruiting efficiency

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8-10 years experience in recruiting, selection, and training; experience in Financial Services industry a plus
• Knowledge of recruiting and sales processes
• Understanding of traditional and innovative recruiting methods, selection assessment tools, and hiring/on-boarding procedures
• Experience with employer branding and using social media to attract talent
• Strong interpersonal skills, with ability foster strong relationships among the team, with Associates, and with Field Management
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of SaleForce or Jobscience experience a plus
• Experience with HireVue or video interviewing
• Behavioral Interview Certified a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills to assist internal customers in resolving issues while maintaining necessary confidentiality
