The Head of Workforce Analytics is responsible for defining the global HR Enterprise Talent Analytics & HR Reporting Strategy.  The individual in this role will develop tools and resources to build and grow data-driven decisions capability in HR and better enable evidence based decision-making in critical Business Processes. The Head of Workforce Analytics will define business value drivers, performance measures, metrics tracking and reporting mechanism / requirements to provide full-spectrum analysis and predictive modeling consistently across the Enterprise. In order to improve business outcomes and optimize Organization Effectiveness, this individual will also strongly contribute to: the Enterprise Workforce Planning process, the analysis of HR Program performance trends and the design and analysis of employee surveys.

 

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Define comprehensive and sustainable Workforce Analytics strategy(s) that support the long term enterprise Human Capital strategy and business goals of the Company.     
  • Develop Workforce Analytics policies and objectives; ensure they are reviewed and amended as needed, based on external changes (legislation, laws) and/or internal processes and practices.  (Globally consistent reporting of metrics to inform business activity monitoring, Profiling of workforce dimensions and characteristics, Prompting of emergent risks and issues to drive strategic interventions, Prediction of future outcomes and impacts)
  • Provide direction, prioritization, requirements and governance oversight to direct team with respect to execution of Workforce Analytics initiatives and processes, and to Global Services, Human Resources with respect to the execution of Reporting in particular.
  • Define, establish and maintain governance and reporting relationships for Workforce Analytics strategy to achieve the strategic objectives that support high performance.          
  • Partner with the HR leadership and other key internal stakeholders to inform strategies, consider and integrate feedback, build & execute on action plans; collaborate with Legal and other stakeholders as needed for guidance to ensure compliance with local laws, regulations and contractual obligations.           
  • Provide leadership and guidance on defined strategies and policies to HR Leadership.   Directly and through team, build and grow analytical capabilities within the HR function, providing coaching and training on use and interpretation of metrics.
  • Serve as a global and/or regional Workforce Analytics subject matter expert, internally & externally, developing suitable strategies and proactively monitoring and leveraging industry leading practices and building external relationships.
  • Serve as the Workforce Analytics policy approver and owner; oversee global and/or regional Workforce Analytics policies, escalations and exceptions.   
  • Work collaboratively with global Human Resources teams in Talent Management and Total Rewards as well as with Organization Development & Change Strategy Director and team for better integration of workforce planning process.  
  • Partner with the other global HR Functional and Regional HR Leads to ensure coordination of strategies, plans, and tactics that impact Workforce Analytics areas.         
  • Build and maintain relationships at all levels throughout the CS, BUs and Global Services, Human Resources       
  • Through global team leadership, ensure that Workforce Analytics initiatives at the regional / local level are aligned with global / regional frameworks.


Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required.  A Master’s Degree with an area of study in Business, HR, Psychology, Economics, Statistics, Math, or Finance is preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience, coaching and leading talent is required. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of workforce/HR data reporting, statistical modeling/analysis and forecasting experience is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of people management experience is required.
  • Strong business acumen; understanding of key global business trends (e.g., organizational functions, regulatory, legal, economic conditions) required.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and to translate strategic directives into tactical initiatives is required.
  • Exposure to cross functional business processes and ability to work successfully in a matrixed environment is required.
  • Proven ability to influence course of action when others are directly accountable for outcome is required.
  • Excellent executive presentation skills, able to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, and able to respectfully question and/or challenge others to think through problems, improvement opportunities, solutions, and plans is required.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to lead a diverse environment required.
  • Strong leadership skills; operates as a global leader with understanding and appreciation for regional differences is required.
  • Successfully led sustained change efforts is required.
  • Up to 30% domestic and international travel is required.
