As an Audit Manager on our fun, close-knit audit team, this is what part of your work entails:

  • You’ll be responsible for working closely with our healthcare Partners and managing client engagements, involving a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit clients in the healthcare industry, including hospitals, clinics, and various ancillary healthcare and healthcare related organizations.
  • You’ll also manage multiple teams and provide performance feedback to all members of those teams at the conclusion of engagements.

  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting external audits whether you’re a Manager or Senior/Supervisor about to be promoted to Manager. You would be considered if you’re an experienced individual who was once working in public accounting and may have recently switched to industry, particularly if you are working in a healthcare setting
  • You have primary relevant experience in public accounting, specifically the Healthcare industry. Though healthcare experience would be a plus and not required, a strong desire to work with healthcare providers is required.
  • Single audit experience is not required but would also be a plus.
  • You must be a licensed CPA in the State of Illinois or able to be licensed in Illinois.
  • Experience with engagement management, audit and review skills and staff supervision are required.
  • You will need to be able to multi task since planning, executing, and wrapping up various engagements may have to be performed concurrently.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit preparation software.
  • Do note that travel may approach 30%, so you must have the ability to travel and serve clients in various locations. However, working remotely is encouraged.
