A Service Desk Analyst contract job in Columbus, OH is available courtesy of Modis Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a year's worth of prior experience working in an IT service desk environment. The Service Desk Analyst job will provide remote technical support to company employees who are migrating to Office 365. The Service Desk Analyst job is a short-term contract; however, the contract may be extended.

Service Desk Analyst Job Responsibilities:
-Provide level 1 remote technical support to all Smiths
-Receive and log all phone calls, emails, and web forms within the service tracking system
-Attempt to resolve incidents or requests on first contact when possible before escalating to Level II Support
-Monitor and respond to support calls within required SLA
-Evaluate issues by interpreting end-user descriptions to find best resolution or course of action

-1 year's work experience in a customer oriented, IT service desk environment
-Ability to work in stressful and challenging environment
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
-Ability to resolve issues over the phone
-Maintain confidentiality of information
-Experience in IT troubleshooting
-Good multi-tasking skills
