This position is responsible for providing technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to all technology users. The Help Desk Specialist fields all Help Desk calls and creates the initial record of the request; resolves all Level One end-user problems; passes all Level Two requests on to the area expert technician; contacts third-party vendors for service repair when required; schedules jobs, and monitors system activity and backups. • First level support for desktop hardware and software support. Document user issues and contact in Helpdesk application. Perform user account maintenance within business system software. • Maintain process and resolution documentation • Assist with mobile device setup and deployment, cell phones, smart phones, tablets, etc… • Troubleshoot software issues and fixes • Test problems with business system software • Assist with end user hardware and software deployments and train end users • Install software and prepare PCs for end users
