Role Summary:

The High Pressure Test Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the Steam and Air/Water Test area is running to the correct production priorities and in compliance with established processes.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of High Pressure Test Coordinator, you will:

+ Perform Boiler start-up and shut down procedures

+ Ensure water treatment is within correct quality parameters

+ Perform valve setting and test procedures

+ Troubleshoot valve test failures

+ Maintain records and ensure PM schedules are coordinated and achieved

+ Train technicians on appropriate test procedures and adherence to all Safety and Quality requirements

+ Observe sources of waste and offer suggestions for continuous improvement

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution

+ Minimum 5 years of Boiler operation experience and/or high pressure valve testing experience

Eligibility Requirements:

+ Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required

+ Ability and willingness to work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities

+ Ability and willingness to be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required

+ Ability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

+ Ability and willingness to be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time

+ Ability and willingness to understand ASME boiler and pressure vessel code and requirements

Desired Characteristics:

+ Team player and proven team building ability

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Proficiency with SAP ERP system

+ Experience testing Safety and Pressure Relief Valves

+ Understanding of and experience with Lean concepts and Continuous Improvement

+ Strong mindset towards safety in high-risk operations
