St. Mark's Hospital is looking for a customer service oriented individual to join their PBX team on an as-needed (PRN) basis.

The Hospital (PBX) Operator receives, screens, and transfers incoming hospital telephone calls. The Operator facilitates the overhead paging system, and directs
communications throughout the facility. PBX is continually on standby and responsible for proper notifications of emergency codes and alarms whenever triggered throughout the hospital campus. They also provide visual surveillance by monitoring security camera images displayed within the office, and reports any suspicious, criminal, and/or unsafe actions observed.Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Some previous switchboard experience preferred.
- Excellent customer services skills; aptitudes in verbal and written communication.
- Clerical perception to accurately and quickly recognize names and numbers.
- Must be patient and courteous at all times, even under stressful situations.
