Under the direction of the Environmental Services Supervisor /
Manager, maintains the assigned patient rooms, waiting areas,
internal and external restrooms, associated lounges, offices and locker
rooms by providing housekeeping services. Insures optimum
sanitation and a clean environment is achieved and maintained
utilizing aseptic techniques by performing specialized cleaning
processes, using a variety of cleaning devices. Employee assigned to
area will follow a daily schedule (subject to change) at the discretion
of the nursing staff. Employee stays in work area and is available to
perform environmental / linen tasks as requested based upon area
needs. Ensures that customer quality expectations are met, promptly
answering pages. Performs weekly project work. Performs other
related tasks as assigned.
Job qualifications include:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English preferred
  • 6 months housekeeping experience in a healthcare or hotel setting preferred
  • Must be able to lift 30 to 50 Lbs.
