Health & Safety:
Coordinate and deliver annual required departmental training. Maintain OSHA's recordkeeping and comply with the reporting of injuries per OSHA and Plumrose requirements. Manage Worker's Compensation claims in accordance to Plumrose policy and assure compliance to the requirements of the State of Vermont's workers' compensation statutes. Champion employee safety programs. Maintain weekly, monthly, and annual internal reporting requirements and distribute accordingly.

Environmental Backup Role:
Coordinate and conduct as needed, the required facility environmental sampling per permit requirements and ensure reporting is completed as required. Ensure facility environmental permits are kept up to date. Complete mandatory local/state/federal reporting requirements; such as Tier II, Form R, etc.

Production Functions
Assist with plant production scheduling on a daily basis, including goods to be produced and labor scheduling.

Other Duties
Champion and support various lean manufacturing initiatives, cost savings projects. Provide backup to the appropriate functions as outlined by the facility succession plan as directed by the plant manager and leadership team. Travel as needed to conferences, meetings, etc. as required.

Work Environment / Physical Demands
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, office environment. Temperatures vary.
• Work flexible hours, on call if needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• ADP payroll knowledge
• Base knowledge of human resources requirements; HIPPA, FMLA, ADA, etc.
• Base knowledge of EHS topics; OSHA, EPA, EPCRA, State Regulations
Experience / Work History
• Employee resource positions, safety leadership

Indirect Reports
• Plant employees, contract workers including Sanitation, Maintenance and other.
