HR Associate - Campus Programs Management

The Technology Development Program team builds Capital One’s pipeline of top technology talent by delivering a program that communicates our technology innovation and impact while developing outstanding associates at the start of their careers.  We are looking for an exceptional Program Associate to support our college hire and internship programs for our Technology job families at our McLean location.

Summary of Responsibilities:

•    Coordinating program-wide events and initiatives

•    Planning and executing a robust yearly events calendar, owning all aspects of the event planning process

•    Building strong relationships with partners in the program and Technology organization as well as with external partners and vendors

The ideal candidate would have:

•    Proven project management skills

•    Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral/written communication & influencing skills

•    Exceptional event planning skills with a keen eye for detail and organization

•    Confidence in interacting with people at all levels of the organization

•    Solid time management and prioritization skills

•    Ability to problem solve and navigate the organization in order to get things done

Basic Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree or military experience.

•    At least 1 year of project management experience OR at least 1 year of corporate event management, OR a combination of the two

Preferred qualifications

•    At least 2 years of project management experience

•    At least 2 years of corporate event planning experience

•    At least 2 years of employee-facing communications experience
