Human Resource Associate Coordinator - Topeka
Job Description:
  • Manage HRIT systems and process transactions to execute multiple business processes including pay and job changes (SAP/Business Objects/myHR/Kenexa/HRMC/etc)
  • Maintain strong oversight and accuracy of compliance documentation through execution of tracking systems (e.g. Discipline Log, Grievance Database, ADA Tracking, LOA Database, Training Log, OFCCP, HRMC Acclaim, AAP etc.) in support of various HR processes and internal/external Audits
  • Lead frontline bid process and external job postings, outreach, tracking and flow logs, coordination of selection process and execution of New Employee On-boarding
  • Keep and maintain employee personnel files including pre-employment and employment documentation Provide Employee Advocacy to site on topics including Benefits and Total Rewards including but not limited to coordination and presentation of Annual Open Enrollment and resolution of benefit issues as needed
  • Administer FMLA, Extended Medical Leave, Worker's Compensation and Return to Work processes in support of site Safety and compliance goals
  • Assist employees with questions and problem resolution
  • Other duties as assigned that promote the achievement of Business or People objectives


  • College Education and Previous HR experience is preferred
  • 3+ years administrative experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of employment law including FMLA policy & Selection
  • HRIS background with ability to navigate proficiently through various human resources systems
  • Computer skills including expert competency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills, oral/written communication, problem solving, and research/investigation
  • Appropriate handling of confidential information
  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Must be willing and able to travel 5% of the time
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis
